Munich, 05 May 2021 – GOVECS, the leading manufacturer of electric scooters in Europe, has its roots in sharing: The company, headquartered in Munich, has been selling sharing scooters worldwide for the past twelve years. This extensive experience has helped to build the perfect electric scooter for use in the sharing sector with the GOVECS FLEX 2.0.
Munich, February 18, 2021 – GOVECS, Europe's leading manufacturer of electric scooters, cooperates with Teltonika. The partner company develops Internet of Things solutions, just like the connectivity-box TFT100, which meets GOVECS’ needs perfectly. When searching for a supplier, it is important to GOVECS that the connectivity-box is manufactured regional in order to keep the supply chain in Europe. Teltonika, based in Lithuania, is considered the technology leader in its field, which was one more major issue during the decision process. Teltonika is closely working with GOVECS engineers to make sure that none of the details goes unnoticed. “We are convinced that we have found the perfect partner in Teltonika. The technical and customer support, we have received already, is from highest quality”, says Thomas Grübel, founder and CEO of GOVECS. Martynas Osauskas, CEO of Teltonika Telemedic & Smart Autonomous Solutions, adds: “Arguably, GOVECS Group has grown a reputation of a professional and TOP manufacturer of electric scooters. For us, it is an honor to have it as a trusted partner in the European market and all over the world. It takes time to build a successful partnership. Thanks to the synergy and common trust, gradually built over the last year, now we are at a very fruitful partnership path."
Munich, August 26, 2020– GOVECS, Europe's leading manufacturer of electric scooters, together with its financial partner Mercator-Leasing, is offering an innovative corporate scooter leasing model, which is only available in Germany so far. "We want to encourage even more people to move towards sustainable mobility. Together with our partner Mercator-Leasing, we have developed a concept that offers benefits for both the employee and the employer," says Thomas Grübel, founder and CEO of GOVECS. The financial partner, Mercator-Leasing, has already expertise in the field of corporate leasing in cooperation with Jobrad, a leasing program for bicycle. The concept with electric scooters is similar: The employer leases the scooter and provides it for to the employee through a transfer agreement. Four climate-neutral models are available as leasing vehicles: The E-Schwalbe as a modern and sustainable interpretation of the classic, the ELMOTO LOOP as a dynamic e-moped, the everyday hero GOVECS FLEX and the ELMOTO KICK, a kick scooter for the last kilometer to work.
Munich, June 03, 2020 – GOVECS is now offering ZOOM SHARING fleets across Germany as a franchise concept and is a consultant for cities, municipalities and companies that want to offer networked electric scooter fleets – from just 20 vehicles. In this way, the leading manufacturer of electric scooters in Europe is not only broadening its position, but also creating an additional range of urban mobility that relieves car traffic in urban areas.
GOVECS currently operates ZOOM SHARING as its own sharing project in Stuttgart with 200 E-Schwalbe, which were awarded as best e-scooters by the ADAC in 2019, among other things, because of their strong drive system. The city in Baden-Württemberg serves as a live showcase and demonstrates how sharing can work efficiently.
Munich, May 7, 2020 – GOVECS is offering a new e-scooter sharing service called "ZOOM SHARING" in Stuttgart starting from Friday, May 8, 2020. The leading manufacturer of electric scooters in Europe helps the city to reduce particulate matter in the basin, to provide citizens an alternative to existing urban mobility offers, and to relieve the burden caused by private vehicles in the urban area.
Munich, April 2, 2020 – GOVECS AG, Europe's leading manufacturer of electric scooters, acquires the Munich-based service provider LiveCycle as part of an asset deal effective April 1, 2020, tripling its network of sales and service points. LiveCycle is a professional two-wheel service provider in Germany and offers both companies and private customers a comprehensive service, stationary at six key locations, as well as mobile throughout Germany.
The infrastructure and offer of the company, which was founded in 2016 and has already been successfully cooperating with GOVECS, optimally complement the existing structures in the B2C area of GOVECS SCOOTER: In addition to Munich, Berlin and Stuttgart, the increasing demand in conurbations such as Hamburg, Frankfurt and Cologne can now also be met. The acquisition not only ensures a nationwide service network and expanded know-how, but also sustainably supports the strong growth in the private customer area in the e-scooter market.
"We are delighted with the successful conclusion of the deal. In the medium term, we want to build the best service network in Germany for electric scooters and bicycles, both stationary and mobile," says Thomas Grübel, CEO of GOVECS, when explaining the company’s decision. "It is also a positive signal in economically challenging times, as we are currently experiencing. We continue to work consistently on solutions for urban mobility, since it is our particular strength." Grübel continues: "The teams at GOVECS and LiveCycle are highly motivated to share their skills to continue our success story."
